The Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank is dedicated to not only restoring sight through transplantation and medical research, but to preserving sight as well.

After recognizing a trend among eye donors whose death was preceded by mechanical ventilation, the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank partnered with the University of Colorado Department of Ophthalmology to address the often overlooked issue of eye care for critically ill patients.  Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and Physicians will find this site to be a valuable resource while implementing the standard eye care protocol recommended by the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank and the University of Colorado Department of Ophthalmology.
